Langland sees improved UK marketing industry ranking

Langland has climbed in the annual rankings for the best marketing agencies in the UK.
The firm rose seven places to 39th in the UK's Top 50 Advertising Agencies as compiled by accountants Kingston Smith.
Based on audited accounts from the 2009 financial year, the table is formed from the Financial Performance of Marketing Services Companies survey.
Joanna Chin, chief operating officer of Langland, said: "Despite the global economy being in recession, we remained focused and believed in the capabilities of our talented team."
She added that clients are prepared to reward those agencies that deliver even when times are hard and Langland has shown considerable growth during 2010, improving its financial performance in the last year.
The company also recently received four Global Awards at the prestigious New York Festivals show held on December 6th 2010.
It was placed on a shortlist of ten finalists, winning praise for campaigns conducted on behalf of pharmaceutical companies including Pfizer, Orion and Bayer HealthCare.
