Mettler-Toledo unveils One Click sieve analysis

Mettler-Toledo has introduced a new system of sieve analysis powered by the LabX software.

According to the firm, the One Click method is able to simplify and speed up the determination of particle size distribution for granular material.

With the benefit of step-by-step instructions on the balance touchscreen, users will find that all calculations are performed automatically.

In addition, results can be automatically printed at the end of the sieve analysis in a personalised report to meet documentation requirements.

"All data and calculations are handled automatically – no manual transcription is necessary and full traceability is assured," Mettler-Toledo explained in a statement.

The company's LabX 2010 laboratory software also offers solutions for standard preparation and loss on drying, both of which can be activated with the One Click shortcut on the instrument.

Last month, Mettler-Toledo promoted the advantages of its new Quantos QB1-L automated dosing system for solids and liquids.
