Full Support Healthcare picked up an accolade at the inaugural Midlands Family Business Awards.
The Wellingborough-based company took the award for fastest growth during the ceremony at Thrumpton Hall in Nottinghamshire, seeing off competition from 50cycles and House of Paws.
It was one of five firms shortlisted for the prize, with the winning company decided by a panel of judges drawn from leading family businesses.
Sarah Fuller, chief executive of Full Support Healthcare, said the firm was "delighted" to receive the award.
"We are committed to an ambitious growth strategy which is set to continue into 2011. We are planning to expand our portfolio with new products and new markets," she commented.
The Midlands Family Business Awards were launched in March this year by the Wilson Organisation, an independent financial advice firm based in Nottingham.
Penny Hydraulics received the award for family business of the year, while Hallmark Consumer Services took the prize for best development of talent.
