Bausch and Lomb appoints new surgical business staff
Bausch and Lomb has announced the appointment of three new members of its surgical business' management team.
The medical technology firm has appointed Anthony Sine as vice-president for business development and Elisabeth Sandoval as vice-president for global marketing, while Brad Paddock becomes vice-president of sales.
All three have extensive experience in the healthcare sector, having previously been employed by companies such as Ethicon and Allergan.
Robert Grant, chief executive officer and president of Bausch and Lomb Surgical, expressed confidence that the appointments will improve the quality of its business operations and bring benefits to its global customer base.
He added: "With their knowledge, insights and demonstrated track record of success, they'll complement our existing global leadership team."
Last month, the company expanded its product offering with the launch of a redesigned version of its PreserVision Eye Vitamin AREDS 2 Formula, which helps to improve ocular health and combat age-related macular degeneration.
