Ketchum has been named as the large PR firm of the year at a recent industry awards ceremony organised by business publication PR News.
The company won the prize at the Platinum PR Awards in recognition of its double-digit top-line growth and revenue expansion in the last 12 months, which was driven by recent merger activity.
In addition, the firm was also named as one of the top 17 media agencies and companies in the PR News Top Places to Work in PR ranking, thanks to the training and development opportunities on offer to staff.
This comes in the same year that Ketchum also won the large PR agency of the year title at the North American SABRE Awards, as well as receiving a nomination in the corresponding category at the 2010 PRWeek Awards.
Raymond Kotcher, senior partner and chief executive officer of Ketchum, said: "Being recognised as firm of the year is really a measure of the talent of our colleagues, the value we deliver to clients and the strength of our partnership with them."
The company is one of the world's largest marketing agencies, operating through more than 100 offices and affiliates located in around 65 nations.
