According to the manufacturer, the device attracted great interest during the three-day event, with Mast representatives on hand to demonstrate the savings it provides in terms of time and labour.
In addition, Mast dedicated space at its stand to showcasing Hain Lifesciences' GenoType CDiff test at the conference.
This device was launched in July 2010 and can help to differentiate strains of C. difficile in less than five hours.
