Sudler and Hennessey nominated for AMM marketing awards

Sudler and Hennessey has received a number of nominations at the Association of Medical Media (AMM) Doctor's Choice Awards for campaigns conducted during 2009.

The agency received five nominations following a poll conducted among medical professionals, highlighting advertisements which effectively communicate messages and information about the product and aid in clinical decisions.

Its adverts for the cardiology drugs Bystolic and Simcor – manufactured by Forest Laboratories and Abbott respectively – were among the nominees, as were its marketing initiatives for Galderma's Vectical and Collagenex's Oracea dermatology treatments.

The agency was also shortlisted in the orthopaedic surgery category for its work on marketing the Ferring Pharmaceuticals therapy Euflexxa.

AMM president Tino DeCarlo said: "This programme shines a light on truly innovative, effective advertisements and recognises the teams that so seamlessly work together to produce pieces intended to catch the eye of general practitioners and specialists."
