Posted on 01/09/2010 in Marketing Services Huntsworth Health has experienced strong growth during the first six months of 2010, according to the Huntsworth group's latest financial report.
The healthcare communications agency saw its revenues for the first half increase by 7.1 per cent year-on-year, with its takings making up 29 per cent of the revenue of the group as a whole.
In the last half year, the company secured a medical communications contract with Novartis worth $3 million (1.9 million pounds), arranged a new project with Pfizer and signed the largest ever sales training contract with Johnson and Johnson.
Moreover, it was also able to agree a deal to acquire marketing agency ScopeMedical from owners Jeremy Williams and William Allingham for 4.6 million pounds in July 2010.
This acquisition is expected to underpin further growth for the firm, adding four new global clients with which it has not previously worked.
Commenting on the performance of the Huntsworth group as a whole, chief executive Peter Chadlington said: "The market is clearly more buoyant than 12 months ago and the outlook is generally more positive." Other news stories from 01/09/2010
