| Colgate to conduct UK road show in September | Posted on 24/08/2010 in Dental Supplier News Colgate will be organising a UK road show during September 2010 in order to help raise awareness of the importance of good oral care standards.
As part of Colgate Oral Health Month, the company will visit major retailers across the country, where dental hygienists and therapists will give advice of tooth brushing techniques and oral care, reports Dentistry.co.uk.
This scheme will help to support the wider objectives of the Oral Health Month initiative, which is being conducted in conjunction with the British Dental Association to encourage regular dental visits, better brushing practices and a reduction in sugary snack intake.
It is expected that more than 90 per cent of UK dental practices are to participate in Oral Health Month, with the scheme also designed to help improve communication between dental professionals and patients.
Earlier this month, the Colgate-Palmolive group published its second quarter financial results, reporting an increase in its overall share of the toothbrush and toothpaste markets. Other news stories from 24/08/2010
