Aurora makes changes to executive team
Aurora has reorganised its communications team with a number of new promotions and appointments.
The healthcare media agency has recruited Emma Ellwood, who joins the company from the position of account executive at Tonic Life Communications, reports PRWeek.
This coincides with the promotion of Sarah Hoffman to the role of associate director, while Aaron Pond has become the firm's account director and digital lead.
In addition, Aurora will promote Katie Armson to the position of senior account executive.
Aurora has been operating in healthcare communication since being founded by Neil Crump and Claire Eldridge in 2005, offering services such as media relations, medical education and clinical trial support.
It has accrued experience working with some of the pharmaceutical industry's most prominent organisations, including AstraZeneca, Lilly, Novartis, Schering-Plough and Roche.
Earlier this month, Aurora's co-founder and managing director Ms Eldridge wrote an article for Pharmaceutical Marketing, detailing the growing role that social media can play in medical communications.
