Posted on 23/08/2010 in Pharmaceutical Company Financials ALK Abello has published its financial report for the first half of 2010, expressing satisfaction after recording year-on-year growth in sales and earnings.
During the second quarter, the firm's vaccine sales grew by 12 per cent compared to the corresponding period of 2009, pushing its revenue total for the first half of the year up to 1.04 billion kroner (113.9 million pounds).
Over the six-month period, the company also saw improvements in its profit margins, reflecting expansion in key markets and product areas, as well as continuing the trend towards positive growth in recent quarters.
In addition, ALK Abello has moved to expand its business further with the recent deals to acquire Artu and Nelco Laboratories.
As a consequence of these positive trends, the company has also been able to increase its projections of revenue and profit growth for the 2010 full year.
