Posted on 20/08/2010 in Medical Company Product News Boston Scientific is attending a medical sector conference later this month in order to present new data on a number of its women's health products.
The medical technology firm will be present at the joint annual meeting of the International Continence Society and International Urogynecological Association, in order to give presentations on its pelvic floor reconstruction and mid-urethral sling systems.
Among the studies set to be presented include a trial assessing the effectiveness of the Polyform lightweight mesh in wound healing, as well as the post-procedure mesh contraction seen when using the Pinnacle range.
In addition, products such as the Solyx single-incision sling system and Obtryx transobturator sling will be assessed on criteria including pull-out forces, tolerability and adverse events.
The conference will take place in Toronto between August 23rd and 27th 2010.
