Simplyhealth presents workplace health award to BDA

Simplyhealth has presented an award to the British Dental Association (BDA) in recognition of the organisation's commitment to workplace health.
The dental plan and healthcare solutions provider chose the BDA to receive the Simplyhealth Healthy Workplace award for the initiatives it provides to ensure that its staff are motivated and healthy.
These include providing healthcare vouchers, employee assistance programmes, health awareness days and flexible working.
James Glover of Simplyhealth stated that its award scheme is conducted in order to help emphasise the important role that companies can play in promoting health on a national level.
He added: "Congratulations to the British Dental Association on achieving the Simplyhealth Healthy Workplace status - the BDA has demonstrated that the health and wellbeing of its employees is fundamental."
This comes after Simplyhealth published research earlier this year showing that a growing number of UK patients are going without dental care due to price concerns, while also highlighting the impact poor oral health can have in the workplace.
