| Anachem launches new ergonomic Rainin pipette | Posted on 19/08/2010 in Scientific Anachem has released a new pipette system which is intended to provide superior ergonomic performance to alternative devices.
The science company has described the new Rainin Classic pipette as "an ergonomic evolution of traditional pipetting", offering a design which is optimised to reduce strain and the risk of injury.
It has been designed with a finger hook for added ergonomic value while also providing reduced plunger forces, allowing life scientists to operate the device comfortably for long periods of time.
In addition, the Rainin Classic offers coverage of all eight volume ranges from PR-2 to PR-10ml, as well as providing high performance in terms of accuracy and precision.
Anachem said: "This robust, high performance pipette has the look, feel and handling of classical pipettes, but newly added ergonomic features ensure a hand-friendly operation and a reduced risk of injuries."
Last month, Anachem launched its new Kapa range of quantitative PCR-based library quantification kits, which are designed to offer better performance than electrophoresis and spectrophotometry. Other news stories from 19/08/2010
