Fleishman-Hillard has been nominated for an industry award in honour of the promotional work it conducted on behalf of the World Hepatitis Alliance.
The marketing agency has been named as a finalist at the 2010 UK PRWeek Awards in the Public Affairs Campaign of the Year category.
It won the nomination for a campaign which aimed to persuade the World Health Organization to endorse World Hepatitis Day, as well as to amass popular support for a resolution on hepatitis B and C at the 63rd World Health Assembly.
Fleishman-Hillard will discover whether it has won the award when the winners are announced in London on October 19th 2010.
Last month, the agency announced the appointment of former Cohn and Wolfe executive Stephanie Marchesi as its managing director and senior partner for global integrated marketing communications.
In her newly-created role, the healthcare sector veteran will be working to provide integrated communications solutions for clients.
