Posted on 12/08/2010 in Dental Supplier News Nobel Biocare has highlighted the progress it has made in the execution of its long-term growth strategy during the last three months.
The dental solutions firm noted that the second quarter of 2010 has been marked by a "persistently challenging" market, leading to a downturn in revenues.
However, the firm was able to achieve its key 2010 objective of establishing its NobelProcera range, while also registering double-digit revenue growth for its NobelActive implant system.
Other key achievements in 2010 so far include its increased investment in research and development and the introduction of the edentulous solutions range.
Domenico Scala, chief executive officer of Nobel Biocare, said: "We are confident that our strategy of broadening Nobel Biocare's product and solution portfolio, as well as the measures that have already been taken, will allow us to return to growth."
In June 2010, Nobel Biocare hosted a successful global symposium for dental professionals in New York in what is aimed to be the first of a series of events.
Further symposia will take place in cities including London, Tokyo and Berlin in the second half of 2010. Other news stories from 12/08/2010
