Posted on 11/08/2010 in Dental Supplier News Ivoclar Vivadent has launched a new antibacterial mouth rinse product which is designed to offer flexible use and a pleasant flavour.
The company's new Cervitec Liquid inhibits the growth of bacteria in the mouth, thereby helping to prevent and treat gum inflammation, halitosis or infections.
It is designed for use by dental offices to administer prior to and after implantological and periodontal interventions, dental and orthodontic surgery or in general cases of poor oral hygiene.
Cervitec Liquid offers a pleasing taste which is intended to encourage patient compliance with its use, as well as discouraging the immediate rinsing of the mouth, which allows the active ingredients to take effect.
It is also formulated using no alcohol, which makes it suitable for patients who avoid alcohol for medical, cultural or age-related reasons.
Earlier this year, Ivoclar Vivadent announced plans to launch the new temporary cavity filling products Telio CS Inlay and Telio CS Onlay, with an October 2010 release planned. Other news stories from 11/08/2010
