Posted on 06/08/2010 in Dental Supplier News Sirona Dental Systems has been presented with another industry award recognising the design of its Teneo treatment centre technology.
The company has been awarded the iF communication design award for the EasyTouch interface of the unit, which was the winner of the iF Gold Award in 2009.
Among the attributes for which the EasyTouch system was honoured are its simple menu system, uniform design element and hygienic hands-free control options, activated by a wireless foot control unit.
It also offers integrated implantology and endodontics function and is designed to be upgradeable to conform to the needs of future technology.
The award will be presented in September 2010 and is the latest in a number of industry accolades won by Sirona, having earned the red dot design award in 2010 for the SIROLaser Advance.
