| ArthroCare reports sales growth in second quarter of 2010 | Posted on 06/08/2010 in Medical Company Financials ArthroCare has published its fiscal results for the second quarter of the year, reporting an increase in product sales compared to the corresponding period of 2009.
During the three months ending on June 30th 2010, the medical technology firm's total revenue advanced to $88.8 million (56 million pounds) from $80.8 million in Q2 2009, while its income from operations returned to positive figures.
Sports medicine and ENT product sales saw year-on-year growth of 9.8 per cent and 11.2 per cent respectively, thereby offsetting a slight decline in the performance of the spine care division.
Rates of cash flow at ArthroCare also increased between 2009 and 2010, as did the net income available to common stockholders.
"The company continues to focus on working capital efficiency, process improvements, and cash conversion," it said.
These figures build on the growth experienced by ArthroCare in the first quarter of the year, during which it also saw increased revenue driven by improved sales. Other news stories from 06/08/2010
