Posted on 02/08/2010 in Scientific Siemens has demonstrated its latest range of products and solutions for life scientists at the American Association for Clinical Chemistry's 2010 Clinical Lab Expo last week.
The science company attended the Anaheim event to showcase a wide range of new assays, instruments and automation solutions designed to deliver benefits to clinicians.
Among these were assays for conditions such as coronary syndromes, hepatitis and syphilis, as well as automated laboratory devices such as the Clintek Status Connect System and Versant kPCR Sample Prep.
In addition, a number of IT solutions from Siemens were demonstrated, including the syngo Lab Process Manager, which helps to streamline workflows and collate critical information.
Michael Reitermann, chief executive officer of Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics, said: "Our goal is to help clinicians explore the possibilities for their lab, hospital or physician office by providing leading-edge products and scientific and technical expertise."
