Posted on 23/07/2010 in Scientific Eppendorf has been honoured for the quality of its recent 2009 annual report with victory at a recent industry awards ceremony.
The science company was given the platinum award at the League of American Communication Professionals' (LACP's) 2009 Vision Awards Competition, after earning a score of 97 out of 100 points for its report.
Eppendorf's report was in competition with more than 4,000 entries from firms hailing from around 25 different nations, with the company ultimately emerging as class winner in the healthcare category.
Explaining its decision, the LACP panel said: "The level of creativity exhibited in the Eppendorf AG report is excellent, which is supported by outstanding clarity in communicating this year's key messages."
It also praised the report for its "robust" financial reporting section.
Earlier this month, Eppendorf announced the launch of the twin.tec unskirted 96-well PCR plates, which are designed to be split into multiple parts in order to offer greater flexibility for scientists. Other news stories from 23/07/2010
