Posted on 22/07/2010 in Pharmacy Supplier News Johnson and Johnson has announced the appointment of Ian Davis as a member of its board of directors.
Mr Davis is a recognised business veteran, having formerly served as chairman and worldwide managing director of management consultancy McKinsey and Company, where he continues to act as a senior partner and director.
Over the course of a career at the firm extending beyond three decades, Mr Davis worked with public and private companies from across the globe, demonstrating expertise in fields such as consumer products and retail.
William Weldon, chairman and chief executive officer of Johnson and Johnson, described the new director as a "welcome addition" to the board.
He said: "Ian brings tremendous global experience, management insight and a wealth of business knowledge to our board based on his leadership of McKinsey and the hundreds of clients he has counselled."
Earlier this month, Johnson and Johnson's consumer healthcare division launched a new eye drop product in its Visine range, which is designed to hydrate eyes and offer relief from redness.Other news stories from 22/07/2010
