The pharmaceutical company has allied with the World Federation of Hemophilia to release a video podcast chronicling the experience of two men suffering from severe haemophilia A.
It represents the final part of an educational podcast series sponsored by Baxter which is designed to raise awareness of the challenges faced by patients, as well as disparities in quality of care between richer and poorer nations.
Baxter's global senior medical director for Hemophilia Dr Wing-Yen Wong, stated that the purpose of its campaign is to illustrate the importance of accessibility in haemophilia treatment.
Dr Wong added: "That is why we continue to invest in improving patient access to care today through offering therapeutic options that support diverse patient needs."
