Posted on 09/07/2010 in Medical Company Restructures Corin has announced the expansion of its executive team with the appointment of a new international sales director with responsibility for the European market.
Peter Hamer has been appointed to the new role at the medical technology firm this week, joining the company from his previous position as vice-president for sports medicine for Biomet in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.
In his position at Corin, Mr Hamer will take responsibility for the management and growth of the company's distributor base in the EMEA territories, as well as India and South America.
The company stated that the new sales director has been appointed in light of his "extensive experience covering strategic sales, product management and marketing".
In addition, Corin also announced that Erich Reiter has become general manager of its Austrian business, with the executive joining the company from Zimmer.
Earlier this year, Corin attended an event at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore, where it demonstrated its Zenith total ankle replacement system.Other news stories from 09/07/2010
