The dental technology company held a three-day event at the end of June 2010 which spotlighted innovative treatments and solutions in dentistry and was attended by around 1,500 industry professionals.
These included New York University College of Dentistry clinical professor Dr Jonathan Ferencz, who chaired the event's scientific committee and helped to develop a programme which covered soft tissue health outcomes, fully edentulous treatments and maxillofacial concepts.
Following on from the success of this show, Nobel Biocare will be aiming to hold events in cities such as London, Tokyo, Berlin and Stockholm in the second half of 2010.
Domenico Scala, chief executive officer of Nobel Biocare, said: "We are very pleased with the high quality the symposium offered and the fact that it attracted both existing and new customers."
Last month, Nobel Biocare launched its new NobelProcera CAD/CAM dental abutments, which are designed for use with a variety of different implant systems.Other news stories from 07/07/2010
