Haemonetics appoints global plasma president
Haemonetics has announced that former CareFusion and Baxter executive Michael Kelly is to become the president of its North American and global plasma business.
Mr Kelly, who most recently served as senior vice-president and general manager of CareFusion’s infection prevention business, will take up his new position at Haemonetics on July 12th 2010.
As part of his responsibilities, the executive will take charge of regional marketing and customer solutions implementation, as well as customer support and services.
Brian Concannon, chief executive officer of Haemonetics, expressed confidence that Mr Kelly’s experience will assist the company’s goal of becoming a “global leader in blood management solutions”.
He added: “Throughout his career, Mike has repeatedly demonstrated the ability to generate strong top-line growth through exceptional customer relationships.”
Last month, Haemonetics was named on the 2010 Companies That Care Honor Roll, complied by the Center for Companies That Care, in honour of its corporate responsibility performance in the last year.
