Posted on 23/06/2010 in Medical Company Product News Cook Medical is to sponsor six fellowships which will be presented to trainee surgeons and radiologists at the forthcoming Endovascular Fusion industry event.
The conference takes place in Warwickshire at the beginning of July 2010 and will see the six successful applicants receive six-month British Society of Endovascular Therapy (BSET) fellowships, allowing them to develop their skills working alongside well-reputed surgeons.
Other items on the agenda for the event, which is organised by BSET, the British Society of Interventional Radiology and the Vascular Society of Great Britain and Ireland, include discussions of important trends, such as the challenges to treatment of thoracic aortic aneurysms.
Phil Nowell, global leader of Cook Medical's aortic intervention division, said: "We are proud to be working with these prestigious organisations in supporting the development of the vascular surgeons of tomorrow."
