Posted on 21/06/2010 in Scientific Zinsser Analytic has released a new automated synthesiser system which it claims can help to improve discovery and optimisation for science researchers.
The company has allied with Thales Nano to create the Sophas Hy technology, a modular upgradeable system which allows for a wide range of potential applications, such as liquid and powder handling, sample preparation, weighing and titration.
It accomplishes this by incorporating the proven functionality of Zinsser Analytic's Sophas Synthesiser and Thales Nano's continuous flow chemistry reactor H-Cube technology.
Zinsser Analytic states that its modular nature means that it can be upgraded to meet the needs of specific workflows on an optional basis.
The company said: "Sophas Hy automates the entire workflow for synthesis on one robotic platform."
Last month, Zinsser Analytic released TraySy X, a new automatic liquid filling system which can be used with any liquid media and is designed to be both versatile and easy to operate.Other news stories from 21/06/2010
