Posted on 15/06/2010 in Dental Supplier News Ivoclar Vivadent is to launch two new cavity filling materials in October 2010 which are designed to offer various advantages when performing temporary restorations.
The new Telio CS Inlay and Telio CS Onlay products are light-cured single-component materials for use in temporising class I and II cavities, while forgoing the need for a separate temporary cement.
They feature beneficial traits such as low polymerisation shrinkage and water absorption, minimal stickiness to the modelling instrument and ease of removal.
Ivoclar Vivadent has also incorporated an antibacterial and cariostatic agent into the materials, which helps to prevent against bacterial growth, discolouration and odour build-up.
It also states that all products in the Telio range are compatible with each other, making it the "most comprehensive system for the temporary restoration of teeth available to date".
Earlier this year, Ivoclar Vivadent released Fluor Protector Gel, a new dental care product which is designed to offer protection to the teeth and gums.Other news stories from 15/06/2010
