Posted on 14/06/2010 in Scientific Zinsser Analytic has released TraySy X, a new automatic liquid filling system which is designed to be user-friendly and versatile.
The device is a compact unit which provides an expanded pipetting area, as well as allowing vials of 4 ml capacity to be filled in less than two seconds.
It is optimised to be easy to operate, allowing researchers to place vials, ampoules and tubes onto the workbench, where they are automatically filled up using computer controls.
Zinsser Analytic states that it can also be used with any liquid media, while any number of bottle arrangements or rack formats for different sizes of containers can be stored permanently in the device's memory.
It said this makes the unit applicable for "both sterile and non-sterile serial dispensing in drug dispensaries, bacteriology labs and pharmaceutical and diagnostic batch production".
Last month, Zinsser Analytic launched the CellJet Cell Printer, which allows cell printing to be conducted on the fly in a way that avoids contamination or damage.Other news stories from 14/06/2010
