Posted on 09/06/2010 in Animal Health Supplier News Idexx Laboratories has introduced new and improved integration functionality for a number of its veterinary practice devices and software systems.
Using Idexx Interlink technology, the firm's VetLab in-house analysers and Idexx Digital Imaging Systems can now interface with the AVImark and Infinity practice management software, from McAllister Software Systems and ImproMed.
The company states that this new functionality enables "two-way conversations" between its diagnostic products and the software, allowing data to be transferred automatically and thereby improving efficiency and accuracy.
Jonathan Ayers, chief executive officer of Idexx Laboratories, stated that these benefits are also in the "best interests" of patients and clients.
He added: "More and more veterinary practices are connecting the dots between productivity and integrating their diagnostic products and services with their practice management software."
Idexx Laboratories has enjoyed a strong start to 2010, according to the firm's first quarter fiscal report in April, which showed a 14 per cent year-on-year increase in revenues.Other news stories from 09/06/2010
