Posted on 01/06/2010 in Pharmacy Supplier News Beiersdorf has announced that Peter Feld is to become the company's executive board member for the Europe region on September 1st 2010.
Mr Feld joins Beiersdorf following a six-year spell at Johnson and Johnson, where he served as the company's chairman of the management board in Germany, while he has also previously been employed by Procter and Gamble.
His employment history means that he has amassed experience both in the consumer business sector and the non-prescription medication business.
Beiersdorf's executive board chairman Thomas Quaas said: "He brings precisely the excellent combination of regional business responsibility and broad international experience in the consumer goods area that we need for the further development of our market position in Europe."
In addition, Beiersdorf also announced that Markus Pinger is to become the new executive board member for brands and supply chain, while current executive board member for brands Pieter Nota is to leave the firm at the end of the month.
Last month, Beiersdorf announced that its Nivea business unit will be participating in a charitable venture to provide education to underprivileged children globally.Other news stories from 01/06/2010
