Posted on 01/06/2010 in Pharmaceutical Company Restructures ALK Abello has announced the appointment of Flemming Pedersen as its new chief financial officer (CFO) and member of the board of management.
Mr Pedersen is currently employed as the chief executive officer of NeuroSearch, where he has been employed since 2000, while his previous roles include spells at companies such as KPMG, Carlsberg and Maersk Medical.
He has been hired as a replacement for the outgoing Jutta of Rosenborg, who is stepping down as CFO after seven years in order to focus the remainder of her career on board-level work.
The company states that Mr Pedersen has been able to accrue "significant management and financial experience" through his employment at NeuroSearch and other firms.
He is expected to assume the ALK Abello CFO role no later than December 1st 2010.
Last month, the company published its financial results for the first quarter of the fiscal year, reporting a 13 per cent year-on-year revenue increase.Other news stories from 01/06/2010
