Posted on 17/05/2010 in Scientific Mettler Toledo has launched a new reaction analysis and monitoring system which is designed to provide high-quality and user-friendly performance.
The science company's new ReactIR 15 device is a compact and lightweight platform which utilises Fourier Transform Infrared Monitoring technology to provide in situ reaction analysis understanding.
Its small size and light weight means it can be easily transported between labs and fitted comfortably under a laboratory fume hood, while its software and technology allows it to be used by chemists who are not skilled in spectroscopy without the need for user input.
Henry Dubina, head of Mettler Toledo AutoChem, said the device makes monitoring chemical reactions "easier than ever".
He added: "The combination of the ReactIR 15 and the simply powerful iCIR software allows the expert or novice to gain quality critical information about [their] chemistry as it reacts."
Last month, Mettler Toledo agreed to work with PDS Pathology Data System to integrate the latter company's toxicology software system ToxData into Mettler Toledo's award-winning Quantos capsule filling device.Other news stories from 17/05/2010
