| Ogilvy assists in new Bayer women's history campaign | Posted on 12/05/2010 in Marketing Services Ogilvy is lending assistance to Bayer HealthCare Pharmaceuticals in the launch of a new promotional campaign highlighting milestones in women's history.
The agency has taken responsibility for managing public relations efforts on the new campaign, which has been launched to mark the 50th anniversary of the introduction of the birth control pill, reports DMNews.
This campaign will involve Bayer making contributions to the Step Up Women's Network, a charity dedicated to advancing young females.
It will also include a contest that offers $5,000 (3,348 pounds) to three women in order to help them achieve their career goals.
Other media firms involved include Initiative, which is responsible for creating the campaign, while email newsletter and campaign partner DailyCandy will take part in promotion.
Last month, Ogilvy won a silver award at the DTC National Advertising Awards, in recognition of the branded website it established to promote the drug Concerta for Ortho-McNeil-Janssen Pharmaceuticals.Other news stories from 12/05/2010
