Posted on 12/05/2010 in Medical Company Product News B Braun is releasing a new foam dressing, which is designed to work in conjunction with its existing product range to deliver optimum wound care.
The company's new Askina DresSil dressing is a soft silicone adhesive three-in-one technology which is optimised for use with the B Braun Askina SilNet wound contact layer.
It states that silicone technology of this kind represents a "new standard" for the industry when dealing with traumatic wounds.
The Askina DresSil product is one of a number of wound care products which will be exhibited at the 20th Congress of the European Wound Management Association this month, with B Braun acting as a sponsor.
It will also be demonstrating products such as Askina Calgitrol Ag and Prontosan, which are designed to cater to a range of different medical needs and treatment methodologies.
Earlier this year, B Braun published its financial report for 2009, a year which saw the company pass the 4 billion euro (3.4 billion pounds) mark in terms of sales for the first time ever.Other news stories from 12/05/2010
