Posted on 10/05/2010 in Pharmacy Supplier News Actavis has expanded its portfolio of generic medicines in the UK with the launch of four new products.
The pharmacy supplier has launched levest, a combination contraceptive pill, the immunosuppressant azathioprine and two depression treatments called clomipramine and fluoxetine, reports Chemist and Druggist.
Azathioprine has been made available in two quantity options, while clomipramine is being offered at three different price points.
These new generic product releases come after Actavis pledged to add 100 new products to its reimbursable medicines range over the next three years.
Michael Cann, commercial director for the drug manufacturer, said: "These new product launches demonstrate our commitment to providing customers with a broad portfolio of products."
The company states that its range of generic medicines is among the broadest in the industry, with more than 350 products available in the UK.
