Seven Seas donates vitamins to Haiti

Seven Seas is to donate more than one million Haliborange ACD vitamin tablets to aid in the recovery efforts in Haiti following the severe earthquake in January.
The pharmacy supplier has allied with its charity associate International Health Partners to distribute the product, which will be shipped in specially-designed containers for ease of distribution.
It is hoped that the contribution of vitamins will be of benefit to the more than 300,000 people estimated as having been injured in the disaster, while a further one million Haitians have been displaced from their homes.
Andrew Shaw, supply chain and research and development director at Seven Seas, said the company is keen to help the country in "any way that they can".
He added: "If we can assist by bringing much-needed nutritional support to Haiti, then we can help in a small way to get the island back on track."
Other products in the company's Haliborange range include omega-3 capsules, as well as a variety of offerings for specific age groups such as infants and children.
