Posted on 14/04/2010 in Dental Supplier News Sirona Dental Systems has been presented with a red dot design award for its SIROLaser Advance device.
The company's diode laser unit was singled out for an honourable mention by the 30-person international jury, which praised the SIROLaser for its "logical" and "coherent" design concepts.
To win the prestigious honour, the unit was chosen over 4,252 other competition entries submitted by manufacturers in various fields, with Sirona set to collect its prize at a ceremony taking place on July 5th 2010.
It comes after the SIROLaser Advance was selected last year as a winner of the Good Design Award, honouring its "excellent design and convincing product concept".
Previous Sirona products to win the red dot award include the SIROPure, inLab MC XL and CEREC MC XL.
The SIROLaser Advance was launched last year and is designed for a number of periodontics, endodontics and pain relief applications, offering a colour touchscreen interface for ease of use.Other news stories from 14/04/2010
