Posted on 13/04/2010 in Scientific IDS Limited has experienced an improvement in its corporate turnover in the last year, driven in part by strong UK sales.
The medical device company has published a trading update for the fiscal year ending March 31st 2010, during which the firm's turnover came to 37.1 million pounds, a year-on-year increase of around 49 per cent.
It stated that strong sales in European territories such as the UK, France and Germany have contributed to this, while US sales have also seen growth.
IDS Limited also expressed satisfaction with the "increased traction" showed by its IDS-iSYS Immunoanalyser in the second half of the year, despite delays over its approval by the Food and Drug Administration.
It also suggested that the launch of three new immunoassays for the system last month, which can be used for the analysis of factors such as parathyroid hormone calcium biomarker or osteocalcin bone protein, will also help to drive sales.
The firm added: "We look forward to reporting results for the financial year ? and continue to look forward to the current year with confidence."Other news stories from 13/04/2010
