Posted on 26/03/2010 in Pharmacy Supplier News Beiersdorf is to replace outgoing chief information officer Dr Ernst Gadermann with Barbara Saunier at the beginning of next month.
Ms Saunier assumes the role following an extensive career handling information management responsibilities for the group, with her current position seeing her heading IT and logistics for Beiersdorf subsidiary tesa.
Her appointment also sees her take over management responsibilities at Beiersdorf Shared Services, the company's IT-focused affiliate.
She has been appointed as a replacement for Dr Gadermann, who is retiring from the firm having played a key role in realigning its IT department and introducing shared service accounting.
He is to leave Beiersdorf at the end of this month "after many years in a number of responsible positions", according to the firm.
Earlier this month, the health and personal care company published its financial results for 2009, during which its sales declined by 0.7 per cent compared to their record-setting 2008 levels.Other news stories from 26/03/2010
