Posted on 19/03/2010 in Pharmacy Supplier News Reckitt Benckiser has announced the appointment of long-term employee Salvatore Caizzone as executive vice-president of its European operations.
Mr Caizzone has been employed by the company since being appointed to an international sales role for its Italian division in 1996 and currently serves as its senior vice-president for Africa and the Middle East, a role based in Dubai.
He has also previously occupied the position of general manager of the Russia, CIS and Baltics business, which was based in Moscow.
In his new role, Mr Caizzone will be based at the company's headquarters in Slough.
The executive will take up the position for Reckitt Benckiser as of May 1st 2010, with the appointment also seeing him assume a place on the company's executive committee.
Last month, the company published its financial breakdown for 2009, reporting an eight per cent year-on-year increase in revenues driven by the strong sales of key brands such as Nurofen.Other news stories from 19/03/2010
