Posted on 16/03/2010 in Marketing Services Porter Novelli has won an industry award for its work in creating a healthcare awareness campaign for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDCP).
The communications firm was presented with the Best Use of Research and Measurement accolade at the PRWeek Awards 2010 for an initiative designed to highlight the dangers of MRSA.
This prize was awarded in recognition of the company's ability to effectively use research and evaluation to establish goals for the campaign, as well as to measure its success.
It was one of two awards collected by Porter Novelli at the event, with the firm also winning the Public Sector Campaign of the Year prize.
Gary Stockman, chief executive officer at Porter Novelli, said: "Both of these campaigns underscore the critical importance of having a deep understanding of the target audience in order to inform the creative strategy and assess results."
