Posted on 11/03/2010 in Dental Supplier News AstraTech has launched the latest evolution of its OsseoSpeed TX dental implant range at an industry conference.
The newest version of the implant maintains the tapered apex design seen on previous OsseoSpeed products, but is now optimised to be easier to implant, particularly in areas of soft bone.
It also retains attributes such as a fluoride-modified surface, Conical Seal Design and Connective Contour to ensure long-term results.
The company premiered the new technology at the Academy of Osseointegration Annual Meeting, with Scott Root, president and chief executive officer of AstraTech in North America, stating it received an "overwhelming, positive response".
He added: "We are confident that this new modification will help to further simplify the implant treatment procedure for all our customers while still delivering the optimal results they've come to expect."
Earlier this month, the company announced the expansion of its Atlantis range of dental abutments to include Nobel Biocare's NobelActive NP 3.5, RP 4.3 and 5.0 implant systems.Other news stories from 11/03/2010
