Porter Novelli appoints EMEA healthcare regional head
Porter Novelli has appointed Shipra Singh to the newly-created role of head of its EMEA healthcare operations.
Ms Singh will join the marketing agency after leaving her position as healthcare chief at Hill & Knowlton, while she has also previously been employed by Bell Pottinger, reports PR Week.
She will join Porter Novelli’s London office and take responsibility for client service, as well as helping to develop the company’s activities in the pharmaceutical marketing, medical education and consumer health and wellbeing sectors.
This appointment has been made in order to increase the firm’s capabilities following the recent securing of new contracts and expansions of its client base.
Porter Novelli partner and managing director Sally Ward said: “We’ve experienced impressive growth in our European healthcare business and we expect to continue this momentum.”
The company’s clients in the healthcare sector currently include such organisations as Procter & Gamble and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
