Posted on 09/03/2010 in Medical Company Product News Smith & Nephew Healthcare is to attend an upcoming industry meeting in order to demonstrate the latest innovations and advances in its portfolio.
The medical technology company will be present at the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons 2010 Annual Meeting to demonstrate expertise in fields such as orthopaedics, endoscopy and advanced wound management.
In addition, the firm will be looking to showcase KLEOS, a medical education platform including features such as surgical skills courses and a telementoring programme.
David Illingworth, chief executive of Smith & Nephew, said its new portfolio supports its strategy of introducing new innovations to maintain corporate growth through 2010.
He added: "We continue to invest in cutting-edge technologies that both advance our existing products and position us to introduce new ones, fulfilling our commitment to improve surgeon and patient options."
