Coloplast Limited honoured for employee engagement

Coloplast Limited has been recognised in the Sunday Times Best 100 Companies to Work For rankings for the quality of its employee relations policies.

The medical devices company won praise from the newspaper following an employee survey which revealed that 74 per cent of staff say they love working for the organisation.

A majority of workers expressed satisfaction on factors such as fairness of pay, benefit offerings and corporate direction, while 87 per cent of workers said they felt the company is making a positive difference to the world.

Managing director Graham Sethna, who personally meets all new starters, won individual praise from workers, with 70 per cent describing him as an inspiring figure.

More than 80 per cent, meanwhile, stated that they are proud to work for Coloplast, which was one of the top 30 scores in this category.

The firm is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Danish company of the same name and employed 3,900 people as of 2000.
