Posted on 08/03/2010 in Animal Health Supplier News Allianz Animal Health's Petplan insurance company has announced the finalists of its Vet Nurse of the Year award.
The pet insurance company has named Amy Floyd of Fivelands Veterinary Centre in Birmingham, Lisa Strickland of Bristol's Viking Vets and Louise Want of Warwickshire-based Feldon Veterinary Centre as the final three candidates.
All three will now attend the Petplan Veterinary Awards ceremony next month, with prizes also set to be presented for best vet and practice, as well as an accolade for the top receptionist.
Alison Andrews, Petplan's head of marketing, stated that the annual event is an opportunity to honour the "tireless and wonderful work" performed by animal health workers.
She added: "This year we have received a great number of nominations and the quality and standard really challenged the skills of our esteemed judging panel."
Allianz Animal Health has enjoyed a successful year in 2009, delivering a 17 per cent year-on-year operating profit increase for the 12-month period.Other news stories from 08/03/2010
