Posted on 05/03/2010 in Scientific Horiba has released a new haematology analyser device under its ABX branding which is designed to offer intuitive and convenient usage.
The new ABX Micros ES60 unit is designed for the analysis of ten microlitre micro-samples, allowing for the processing of 18 parameters, CBC and three-part differential analysis.
It is capable of processing up to 60 such samples per hour, which means that clinicians can benefit from a fast turnaround time on haematology results, which in turn will reduce patient waiting times.
In addition, it is designed to be a compact unit that can be easily accommodated on a bench top, while it also includes a touchscreen interface for ease of use.
The company stated that these benefits make the device "the perfect combination of intuitive use and innovative technology".
Earlier this year, Horiba launched the Pentra C200 compact chemistry analyser, a device designed as a cost and space-efficient unit for smaller clinical laboratories.Other news stories from 05/03/2010
