Posted on 04/03/2010 in Scientific Agilent's executive vice-president of finance and administration and chief financial officer (CFO) Adrian Dillon is to depart the company following an eight-and-a-half-year spell in its employment.
Mr Dillon will leave his position at the science firm as of April 1st 2010 to take up a role at the internet communications firm Skype, with Agilent's vice-president of corporate controllership and tax Didier Hirsch to become acting CFO from that date.
The outgoing executive has been with the company since 2001 and has taken responsibility for its finance functions, strategic planning and corporate development among other tasks.
Bill Sullivan, Agilent's president and chief executive officer, hailed the role played by Mr Dillon in the development of the company.
He added: "Moving forward with Didier as interim CFO, we are assigning a proven veteran performer to this key position while we complete our search for Adrian's replacement."
Last month, the company published its financial breakdown for the fiscal quarter ending January 31st 2010, reporting a four per cent year-on-year increase in revenues.Other news stories from 04/03/2010
